Frequently Asked Questions
Are all pieces truly handmade?
Yes! Every piece of Skybird Pottery is hand-thrown on the wheel, hand-carved, and glazed by hand. No two pieces are identical — slight variations in color, texture, and form are a natural part of the process and what makes each piece unique.
How do I care for my pottery?
All of our pieces are dishwasher safe, but we recommend hand washing to preserve the glaze and extend the life of your pottery. Avoid sudden temperature changes (like placing a cold mug directly into a hot oven).
Is your pottery food and drink safe?
Absolutely. All glazes used at Skybird Pottery are food-safe and lead-free.
Can I request a custom piece?
We occasionally accept custom orders depending on our current workload. Reach out to us at info@skybirdpottery.com to inquire about availability and timing.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Please allow 3–5 business days for processing, plus shipping time. See our Shipping page for full details.
What if my piece arrives broken?
We're so sorry if that happens! Please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damage and your order number. See our Refund Policy for more details.
